Last night was Beggar's night. This year is probably my favorite costume I have had. I went as Katniss Everdeen from training, I went with my cousins Jake and Evie, Jake was Peeta Melark and Evie was Effie. We all went together from The Hunger Games. I like Beggar's night because we get to dress up in costumes and have fun. I saw multiple costumes that were the same but I didn't see anyone dress up the same as me or Jake and Evie. Over all I really like beggar's night and can't wait until next year.

This morning we had a guest speaker, his name is Samuel Menyongar. He talked about his country Sierra Leone. He also talked about his life in Konde Farm. Another thing he talked about was the Ebola virus in his country. He talked about and showed pictures of what school was like for children in Sierra Leone. I thought it was cool that the kids there learn the same things we do, because even though they are a poor country they sometimes have the same opportunities as we get. Now I know that their are lots of ways that we can help Sierra Leone. One is getting people to donate things to give to Sierra Leone and possibly other countries in Africa.
I think one thing I should say more often my sports team is not always the best sports team. I think I should say that more often because it applies to a lot of things. Recently I won a game against my cousin and she was not that happy, now I wish I would have said "I am not always the best at games." That is a lot like saying my sports team is not always the best sports team. You can say it if you win at something and the other team or person is not happy you can say it but change the words. |
